Everyone wants to be happy. The essence of the path is to be happy.
Running after emptiness will not lead you to happiness. If you understand the meaning of happiness, then you will understand the meaning of emptiness and will not fall back into suffering.
Emptiness is our Buddha Nature. Key point is not to fall back into suffering.
That’s why we need a teacher.
Emptiness and happiness are co-related! This is very profound!
Ordinary people would think that emptiness means everything is illusory or non-existing. Nobody would think that it has something to do with happiness.
Yet if we think again, we would find that the utlimate happiness is the realizaion of our Buddha nature. That way emptiness can be related to happiness. How imspiring!

Dear Rinpoche, you are Emptiness, you are Hapiness, you are Happy Emptiness. All there is, is You : Buddha nature. The teacher-disciple relationship is also an ego game, this game wil never be over, but it can be seen for what it is : a Happy and Empty game.

i’ve never seen 500 Days of Summer. and iv heard lots of good feedback regarding this ,and tonight i couldn’t sleep and decided to watch something, i pick this movie.
at first i was thinking, ooh, what a lovely romantic thing’s gonna happen, they were sweet, and i loved everything that happened how they both seem to be having fun and then….she said “…even i can’t put a label on it.”
the last guy i dated suddenly came into my mind.
i felt so terrible. my heart is literally breaking!i am this woman in the movie.
i am Summer.
and it sickens me to know that i have been running after emptiness the whole time….
